Not everything has to explain itself.

Every initiative begins in a quiet place. Urban Debug is ours. A small, evolving practice of making things with intention. Some of them stay behind the scenes. Others make their way into the world.

TaleDecode

TaleDecode

TaleDecode is a collaborative digital archive and research platform investigating the mechanisms by which narratives endure across centuries and cultures. Through the systematic study of hundreds of literary fairy and folk tales and their classical authors, we trace narrative patterns, archetypal themes, and cultural transmission to understand what gives certain stories their longevity.

This project brings together writers, artists, researchers, technologists, and designers in an ongoing inquiry at the intersection of folklore studies, cultural memory, and narrative theory. Our work examines how oral traditions transform into written texts, how literary archives function as sites of both preservation and erasure, and how narratives circulate and adapt across cultural boundaries.

Y2K Fashion

Y2K Fashion

Y2K fashion wasn’t just about metallic fabrics and low-rise jeans.

It was a cultural moment. A declaration. The early 2000s arrived with optimism—about technology, about the future, about what was possible. Y2K fashion reflected that energy: futuristic metallics, experimental silhouettes, a fearless “why not?” attitude. Young people weren’t following fashion—they were creating it, pulling from street style, pop culture, and a genuine excitement about the millennium ahead.

But somewhere in the translation from then to now, that energy got smoothed over. Modern interpretations often flatten Y2K into a simplified aesthetic—perfectly curated outfits that capture the look without the context. The real Y2K—messy, experimental, genuinely hopeful—deserves more than surface-level recreation.

We think Y2K deserves better.

Hall of Funk

There’s something undeniably intriguing about stinky cheese. It’s bold. It’s misunderstood. It’s the rebellious cousin at the dairy table—offending some, enchanting others, and never blending in.

Some people run from it. Others chase it across continents. Stinky cheese isn’t just food—it’s an adventure for your senses.
